Is Localfile offline?

Yes. File processing runs locally on your machine. No uploads.

Found a bug?

Email help.localfile@gmail.com with details and steps to reproduce. Please include at least 2 screenshots of the issue, and a log if possible. If it’s a real product bug, we’ll send you a free license key as a thank-you.

I paid but didn’t get my license email.

First, check spam/promotions. Then go to License to resend your license email. If that doesn’t work, email support.

Does the File Shredder guarantee unrecoverable deletion?

Not always. SSDs and modern file systems can keep historical copies due to wear leveling, copy-on-write, and snapshots. Shredding is stronger than normal delete, but it’s not a forensic-proof promise.
